I was reminded by the attached excerpt
from a recent edition of the South China Morning Post that I have not received a reply to my letter dated 14th (134/5 December 1977, about the Royal Mint's monopoly of
Hong Kong's coinage business. You will see from this article that the Royal Mint made very substantial profits last year. As this has been widely publicised, it is, in my view, important that we are prepared should we be pressed to provide answers to questions similar to those raised in my letter dated 14th December 1977.
