I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to refer to Mr J Thompson's letter of 12 July about the proclamation which the Governor of Hong Kong proposes to make in order that a new coin of one dollar denomination may become legal tender in the Colony on the 14th of August 1978.
