The French delegation said that it would state its final position on the subject at the next Committee
meeting.
The United Kingdom and Danish delegations pointed
out a number of inaccuracies in the Commission's
figures concerning the volume of products originating in certain countries imported under OPT arrangements. It was agreed that these questions would be dealt with bilaterally between the Member States and the Commission.
VI. PROPOSAL FOR A COUNCIL REGULATION MAINTAINING IN FORCE THE
ARRANGEMENT FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF IMPORTS INTO FRANCE OF
GLOVES ORIGINATING IN MALAYSIA
The Committee agreed to the Commission proposal as circulated in S/1716/78 (COMER 217).
