GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITION OF SALE OF THE LOT DESCRIBED
IN THE FOREGOING TENDER NOTICE

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Within ten days of the date of the letter referred to in paragraph 8 of the Tender Notice, the successful tenderer (hereinafter referred to as "the purchaser") shall sign, er in the case of a limited company duly execute under its common seal, the Memorandum of Agreement hereinafter contained for completing the purchase according to these Conditions and the Special Conditions attached hereto. The purchaser shall als● * sign the sale plan. Where the successful tender has been made on behalf of a principal, the principal shall himself sign or itself execute the Memorandum of Agreement as purchaser.

The purchaser shall apply to the Director of Public Works for the lot to be set out on the ground and shell not commence any operations for building thereon until it shall have been so set out by the said Director. If the purchaser erects any building otherwise than in due accord with such setting out he shall, when called upon by the said Director so to do, demolish such building and shall rebuild as directed by him. If the purchaser fails to demolish any building as aforesaid it shall be lawful for the said Director to have such building demolished and the purchaser shall pay en demand the amount certified by the said Director to be the cost of such demolition.

The purchaser of the lot shall throughout the tenancy maintain all buildings erected or which may at any time here- after be erected on the lot in good and substantial repair and condition, and in such repair and condition deliver up the same a' the expiration or sooner determination of the tenancy. In the event of the demolition at any time during the tenancy of any building then standing on the let or any part thereof the purchaser shall replace the same either by sound and substantial buildings of the same type and of no less volume or by buildings of such type and value as shall approved by the Directer of Public Works. In the event of demolition as aforesaid the purchaser shall within one month of such demolition apply to the said Director for consent to carry out building works for the redevelopment of the lot and upon receiving such consent shall within three months there f commence the necessary work of redevelopment and shall complete the same to the satisfaction of and within such time limit as is laid down by the said Director.

The purchaser shall permit Boundary Stones properly
cut and marked with the number of the lot to be fixed at each angle thereof and either in or on the land itself or in or on any building erected thereon as may be required by the Director
f Public Works and shall pay the fees prescribed by him therefor as well as the prescribed fee for the refixing of such boundary stones which, through being lost, damaged or removed, need
replacing.
