(e) Guarantee of Supply
Tenderers are requested to note that they are required by the lease conditions to maintain in Government storage a minimum stock level equivalent to one month's local consump- tion so that continuity of supply can be assured in the short term should there be a stoppage in production.
In the event of a prolonged stoppage, for whatever reason, a supply of explosives from overseas will have to be urgently provided. Tenderers are asked to provide details of such a contingency supply that the tenderer could arrange with an estimate of the elapsed time before it would be available for use in Hong Kong.
