REPLACEMENT OF PATROL CRAFT
At the meeting which you attended here on 12 September 1978, you asked me to prepare a short summary of the craft study undertaken by the Naval Staffs for presentation to the Hong Kong Government. This is attached. I hope it covers all the points which concerned you, and that you will be able to give approval in principle to the proposed solution by the end of the year, as we agreed at the meeting.
