INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING MEMORANDA
These memoranda cover territories of concern to Government departments and Service staffs and consist of short summaries of information on subjects likely to be of use in outline planning and briefing. Where fuller information on specific subjects is available in such publica- tions as British Intelligence Surveys, reference is made to these in the text.
The Logistics Branch of the Defence Intelligence Staff or the Logistics Intelligence Sections at overseas command headquarters should always be consulted for the latest available information for detailed operational purposes.
This IBM supersedes all earlier editions which should be destroyed. It will be kept up to date by periodic Check Bulletins, the latest of which should be kept in the pocket with the map.
