VISIT OF GOVERNOR, HONG KONG, TO THE UK

n

Action Taken

Sir Murray MacLehose, the Governor of Hong Kong, has asked permission to visit the United Kingdom in April. He proposes to leave Hong Kong on 21 April and to be in London from the 24th to the 28th, then either return to Hong Kong or take a few days' leave. In accordance with Dependent Territories Departmental Procedure, I have approved his proposal, after checking that Lord Goronwy-Roberts will be available to see Sir Murray during this period.
