Joan and I will take leave earlier this year,
and expect to be in London from Sunday the 14th until Thursday the 18th May. I would like to come and see you as usual, and call upon Dick Stratton and Hugh Cortazzi. I shall naturally visit Jim Hall, although my work contact with him is now nil, after all these years!
Could I call in the F.C.0. on Tuesday the 16th May at say 10 o'clock, or if this is inconvenient, I can manage any other morning from Monday to Thursday inclusive in that week. And could you lunch with us on the 16th, also (and Dick Stratton and Hugh Cortazzi, if they're free. May I trouble you to pass on the invitation?)
Things are very busy here and I am enjoying the transmogrification from a personnel type to a housing production programme pusher. Very stimulating, and good political experience.
