This is just to let you know that Sir Donald Luddington called to see me on Monday August 14 as arranged. He asked a number of questions about the rules and practice in the Civil Service relevant to his interest in stamping out corruption. I gave him copies of the rules of conduct and discipline. He had already studied the report of the Royal Commission on Standards of Conduct in Public Life.
