Barbara Loasby tells me that delivery for Haking Wong is improving, although there has been a recent docks strike at Southampton. Since many of the delays in providing equipment for Haking Wong have been due to the search for British suppliers, you might like to explain the Crown Agents' difficulties when all items and substitutes requested are of foreign origin.

6. Finally, you might like to mention that, when MKGD ceases to be a joint department, the CD should take over the running of the remainder of this Aid Programme.
