HONG KONG CONSORTIA TO BUILD HOTELS IN CHINA ?
There have been a number of stories in the press recently about plans for a local consortia to help build hotels in China. You may be interested in the attached translation of an article in the "Sing Tao Wan Pao" of 13 September. I shall try to find out here whether we can provide any further background on this story. If true, it could provide an added reason for the visit to Hong Kong (about which I have written separately) of the Director of China Travel Service.
