Comment: A Stage III of the Secondary School Building Programme has been approved and incorporated into this table. The approved policy as set out in the 1974 White Paper is to provide sufficient places in senior secondary forms in the public sector for 40% of the 15-16 age group and this target will be achieved by 1981.
