Progress Made & Present Position
(b) A composite request for provision
of resources for the Environmental Protection Unit and for depart- mental pollution control agencies was submitted to the Finance & Civil Service Branches on 30th May 1978. Discussions have taken place between this branch, Finance Branch, Civil Service Branch, the Pay Structure Unit and the depart- ments concerned on these proposals and a draft Finance Committee Agent da Item has been circulated to the departments for comments prior to submission.
Next Qarter Targets
(b) Obtain Finance & Civil
Service Branch ap roval to funds and to the creation of posts so that recruitment can commerice.
