Frogress Made and Prosent Position
The housing Authority Management Committee approved in principle to set aside accommodation for 21 hostels for the elderly (with capacity for 2600 elderly), 12 for the disabled and other special groups and 5 sheltered
workshops in estates to be completed in the next 5 years.

To implement the programme and to kcep it under periodic review.

The survey produced a lot of information which has now been analysed. a report on the findings was issued in beptember by the Commissioner of dating and Valuation. Copies of the report nave been sent to D of H, S for E and DPW.
Detailed proposals to decontrol non- domestic premises in prewar buildings by 1st July 1984 and to increase the Palistic levels and permitted rents of both domestic and to reduce gradually non-domestic premises annually with cffect from 1st July 1979 have been formulated,
