(b) A composite request for provision
of resources for the Environmental Protection Unit and for depart- mental pollution control agencies was submitted to the Finance & Civil Service Branches on 30th May 1978. Discussions have taken place between this branch, Finance) Branch, Civil Service Branch, the Pay Structure Unit and the depart-1 ments concerned on these proposals and a draft Finance Committee Agent da Item has been circulated to the departments for comments prior to submission.
