(a) Froposed Water Pollution, Air
Pollution, Noise Abatement and Solid Waste Disposal Ordinances were set out by the consutants, Environmental Resources Ltd. (EL in July 1977 and amended following discussions with the Environmental Frotection Advisory Committee ECOM) and Government departments Consultation with industry over this proposed legislation has been completed for the Water Pollution Control Cydinance, which is now with the Law Drafts- man. EL legislative draft in the process of law drafting, sultation with industry or future environmental protection legislation is to be based
upon the Law Draftsman's first draft rather than the EL draft.

(ii) complete consulta- tion with industry
on the Air Pollution Control draft by December for dis- cussion in 1 CON pr ior to Law Drafting in November;
