(2)

Mutual Aid Committees are formed to promote mutual care and responsibility among residents living in the same building, aiming at improving the security, cleanliness and management of the building. As their formation and subsequent servicing is assisted by staff of the City District Offices, additional opportunity for dialogue with grassroots is provided through MACs, which are formed currently at the rate of 300-400 each year.

Estimated number of Owners Incorporations/Landlord & Tenants Associations. There were no MACS formed prior to June 1973.
