will be acting Financial Secretary from 2nd June 1978 to

Mr. Dorward's previous appointment to the Legislative Council referred to in your despatch dated 7th November 1977 expired on 18th November 1977 following the return to the Colony of the Honourable D. H. Jordan, CMG, MBE, JP.

Copies of the instrument of appointment and of the gazette notice promulgating the appointment are attached.
