ACTING GOVERNOR
In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause XIV
of the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1977, I appoint -
JOHN WALTER CHAMBERS
Justice of the Peace, to be provisionally an Official Member
of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong with effect from
14th August 1978 during the absence from the Colony of the
Honourable Eric Peter HO (:1), Justice of
the Peace.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony on 11th August 1978.
