Awareness of organisations and elected members

Of the six organisations included, City District Office and Urban Council are

the best known. 9 in 10 adults aged 18 years and over have heard about them.

Awareness of Legislative Council and Executive Council is quite high; being

known to about 8 out of 10 adults.

About 6 in 10 adults have heard of Reform Club but Civic Association is less

well-known (47%).

On the whole, awareness of these organisations is higher among men and the

younger adults and it increases with household income and level of education.

About one-third of adults have no idea of what an elected member is.
