I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed the Honourable LI Fook-wo, OBE, JP, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure with effect from 24th May 1978 to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council during the absence from the Colony of the Honourable ANN Tse-kai, CBE, JP.

Mr. Li's previous appointment referred to in your despatch dated 8th May 1978 expired on 5th May 1978 following the return of the Honourable LEE Quo-wei, CEB, JP.
