I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed the Honourable R. H. LOBO, CBE, JP, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure with effect from 8th July 1978 to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council during the absence from the Colony of the Honourable Sir Sidney Gordon, CBE, JP.

Mr. Lobo's current appointment referred to in my despatch CR 6/1136/71 IV dated 5th June 1978 will expire on 7th July 1978 on the return of the Honourable J. H. Bremridge, OBE, JP.
