As Labour Students we have great difficulty in overcoming the feelings of overseas
students that the Labour party is one of a narrow nationalist nature. We find that
occurrences such as the Bermuda Hangings seriously undermine our efforts. But this
is the least of our concerns and we sincerely hope that in the name of humanity
and of Labour you will ensure that such merciless executions will not take place again
whereever the British flag flies.If there is no power behind the flag it should be
lowered.
