1. I submit the latest monthly revision of the table setting out the position on current gapital cases in the Dependent Overseas Territories.

2. The only significant change since the table was last revised (Mr Quantrill's submission of 25 July) is that Earl Young's appeal

against conviction has been dismissed. The Governor of Belize has undertaken to let us know how he expects this case to develop, and whether he needs any help (eg over getting a second psychiatric opinion on Young's mental state).

3. The table also includes some further information on the Clayton Raynor case in Bermuda, which has yet to come to trial.
