CAPITAL PUNISHMENT : LETTER FROM MISS JOAN LESTOR MP

Miss Joan Lestor MP has written to Mr Rowlands
enquiring about the result of Sylvester Gaston's appeal and asking what is necessary to avoid further hangings. The letter was sent to WIAD for preparation of an answer and was transferred to HKGD within whose respons- ibilities the general subject of capital punishment lies.
