Officially Authorized Only For The Jubilee Year

The individual $25 silver and $50 gold coins have been authorized by the Cayman Islands Currency Board and the British Foreign Office only for Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee year. These unique coins will never be issued again.

All coins will be struck at the Royal Canadian Mint. Only proofs will be issued. Each collection will be accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

All coins are legal tender in the Cayman Islands where $1 Cayman Islands equals $1.20 U.S. They are backed by official

government legislation and are redeemable in the Cayman Islands for their full face value.

Each silver coin will be struck in .925 fine sterling silver. The $25 coins are 45 mm in diameter and weigh 800 grains. The $50 Six Queens silver coin measures 50 mm in diameter and weighs a full 1,000 grains.

The exact mintage of these collections will be strictly limited to the number of orders received by the official ordering deadline, September 30, 1977. After production, the dies for the individual $25 silver and $50 gold coins will be destroyed, insuring their limited edition status forever.

The exquisite cameos that have become so famous on the Six Queens $50 silver and $100 gold coins are enlarged and reproduced exactly on each individual $25 silver and $50 gold coin.

The Silver Queens Collection will contain six (6) silver coins, the five (5) $25 coins featuring portraits of the individual Queens, and the widely acclaimed $50 Six Queens silver coin with cameos of all five former sovereign Queens.
