(11) One long drawn out case occurred from the claims of a Britis
commercial company against HMG for compensation, for loss of fixed assets in the coded territory, loss of investment made
when it was believed that, the idea of the cession had been
abandoned..and also on the ground that the enterprise had bee: ruined partly because native labour could not be recruited
under the severer native policies of an Italian regime. The
case was however very complicated and this mention of it .should be indicative enough for present purposes.
