POLICE (DISCIPLINE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1978
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45
of the Police Force Ordinance, the Governor in Council
has made the following regulations

Amendment of regulation
27.

1。 These regulations may be cited as the Police
(Discipline) (Amendment) Regulations 1978.
2. Regulation 27(3) of the principal regulations
is amended by deleting sub-paragraph (d) and substituting
the following sub-paragraph
"(d) if he is of the opinion that the inspector
does not deserve to be punished but that
the proceedings disclose grounds for
requiring the inspector to retire in the
public interest, without further
proceedings require him to retire in
the public interest.".

Amendment of Schedule.
3. The Schedule to the principal regulations is
amended in the item relating to the powers of the Governor
by deleting paragraph 3 in column (4) and substituting
the following
