I recommend that the Secretary of State authorize me to convey to the Government of Hong Kong the pleasure of the Crown that the officers listed in List A should no longer hold office. It is the intention of the Government of Hong Kong that each of these officers be treated as if he were retiring normally from the Crown Service, They will, therefore, be granted such retirement benefits, pensions, etc as would normally accrue.
