1. I attach draft letters as discussed to Sir Arthur Power and Sir Basil Hall putting them in the picture about the interviews which were held last week for the above vacancy. I also attach a draft to Mr Hobley to cover copies of the two letters which we received from Mr Bourne about Messrs Hartley, Howard and Griffiths. You will see that I have also written to Mr Oulton requesting more information on Mr Howard.
