You may be interested to know that two of the ilks you suggested, Mr R L C Hartley and r w ticL Howard, have been short-listed for this appointment. The other candidates under consideration include another practising milk,
Mr JC Griffiths who has prosecuted for the Crown in Hỏng Kong and is well thought of there.
I cannot yet say when we shall reach a decision or whether the successful candidate will be a member of the Bar. In the meantime I am most grateful for all the help which you und your secretary h ve given us.
