My Lord,
I have the honour to inform you that in addition to myself, seven of the substantive High Court Judges in Hong Kong are at present authorised to exercise jurisdiction under the Indian and Colonial Divorce Jurisdiction Act 1926 (Huggins and Pickering JJ.A., McMullin, Leonard, Li, Trainor and Cons JJ.).
The Hon. Mr. Justice Baber, the Hon. Mr. Justice Yang, the Hon. Mr. Justice Zimmern, the Hon. Mr. Justice O'Connor and the Hon. Mr. Justice Addison have not been so appointed. I have the honour to propose to Your Lordship pursuant to Rule 3 of the Hong Kong (Non-Domiciled Parties) Divorce Rules 1969, that they may be so authorised to exercise jurisdiction under the said Act.
