When you were on leave here in October you spoke to Mr Hall and to WIAD about the poor quality of the government housing which had been made available for the Chief Justice and the Attorney General. You did not think that the government could give special treatmer + to these officers by giving them a special housing allowance as this would cause repercussions from others. We are, therefore, trying to get such an allowance from ODM. I enclose a copy of my minute requesting this and will keep you informed of developments.
