1. John Stewart wrote to you on 21 February 1978 regarding the upkeep and maintenance of Government House. I enclose a copy of his letter for easy reference.
2. We have not yet received your views requested in paragraph 6 and would be most grateful to have these as soon as possible. It is particularly important for us to have an approximate annual figure representing your assessment of the cost of maintaining the Residence. we have this we can look into ways and means of providing the money.
