SECTION 6 : COMMUTATION OF PENSION

6.1 In granting a Governor a pension under this Scheme the Minister may, on the
Governor's application, commute by the payment of a capital sum part of the pension,
not exceeding one-fourth of the yearly amount, which the Governor might have
received but for the commutation.
6.2 The amount of the capital sum which is to be paid on the commutation of part
of a pension granted under this Scheme shall be the amount produced by multiplying
the yearly amount of that part of the pension which is commuted by eleven and a
half.
