Outline agreement has been reached with supplier on the best methods to be used to minimise the delay. Revised contract terms including agreed compensation rates are under discussion.

The Project for new Accommodation for Ememgency Unit and Traffi● Kowloon East is receiving the highest priority possible to a BI graded project.

a) Rank and File recruitment so far has

been satisfactory but there have been signs of a slackening off response. The Rank and File strength of Police was 13,938 on 1st April 1976 and 14,760 on 1st January 1977. The target strength on 1st April 1977 is 15,225, requiring an increase in strength of 455 between January 1st
