1. Patrol Graft
(S.C.R. 6/57 III)
To reach agreement on the replacement programme for the present patrol craft when their present economic life expires in about 1982.
Reply awaited from MOD to the agreed joint paper setting out operational requirements for replacement patrol craft forwarded by CBF on 22 February 1977
CAPIC and S for S to visit MOD in August/ September to consider reply when received from MOD. This is expected in about September, 1977.

To respond to proposed changes in the UK Nationality Law
Informal meeting held with UMELCO. Queries arising from Green Paper proposals referred to FCO. Comparative statement prepared showing effect of proposals on CUKCS. Briefing papers
prepared on situation of
persons holding CR status
and the case for main- taining present CUKC position.
Consider advice awaited from FCO with a view to putting forward proposals for consideration by Executive Council.
