I had intended to reply personally to your letter of 17th August, but through a misunder- standing the reply was sent before I saw it. However, having now read our reply, I have no quarrel with its substance, though I might perhaps have expressed it differently. So I hope no harm has been done. Please let me know if you need any more information on this subject.

Our present information is that the S.A.T.s do not intend to visit London until 26th October. Your October visit will, therefore, give us an opportunity to discuss any questions you may have, before they go.
