1. As you are probably mare it looks as if the Department at long last will fold up in the coming few weeks and as I am endeavouring to tidy up some of the outstanding matters I wonder if you could let me know if you have been able to begin a draft of the guide for desk officers dealing with mosounting and audit matters in dependent territories which we dimsumunod before you left this Department.
2. As you know, we had hoped that it would have been possible for you to complete the guide before you left us but we were well aware of the many commitments on your time. However, I hope that you have been able to devote some time to this siace your move.
