DRUGS LIAISON OFFICER - THAILAND
1. Thank you for your letter of 13 June 1977. I have consulted our Ambassador in Bangkok and the Secretary for Security in Hong Kong. Both are happy to have Peter Law cover UK as well as Hong Kong interests in narcotics suppression and to carry out, to that end, any necessary additional liaison work with the Metropolitan Police.
2. I understand that Roy Henry, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, RHKPP, has already written to you suggesting that you produce a draft defining the liaison work you
Once would like Peter Law to carry out on your behalf. this has been received and approved by HM Ambassador, Bangkok, and the Secretary for Security then Peter Law's position as UK Liaison Officer can be formalized.
3.
Peter Law will be in England on leave from 15 July to 20 August. His address will be:
The Old Rectory
