42. Four Taiwanese ship's officers were arrested in connection with the seizure.
The master of the vessel, Hsu Chao-ching (6079/2600/3237), the chief officer KAO Hang (7559/5300), the second officer LIN Shou-te (2651/1108/1795) and the quartermaster HSIA Ming-li (1115/2494/0448) were arrested and have been jointly charged with Trafficking In A Dangerous Drug. They have all been committed to stand trial at the Supreme Court.
43. Paragraph 71 refers to a second seizure of narcotics made on this vessel by Narcotics Bureau officers.
The hide in the fore-peak tank of the m.v. "Solar Continental Maru" where 3
polythene bags of narcotics were concealed.
