To obtain and forward to the Central Drugs Intelligence Unit, New Scotland Yard, all information concerning trafficking in narcotics which in his opinion might affect or be useful to police forces in the U.K.
Through the Central Drugs Intelligence Unit, to act as a reference point for U.K. police forces in relation to enquiries in Bangkok concerning U.K. citizens or
persons resident or active in the U.K. and involved in
narcotics, trafficking or abuse.
"It is to be emphasized that Mr. Law is to act on our behalf strictly in an intelligence-gathering role and is not to engage on our behalf in any operational activity whatsoever.
He is to use such channels of communication as

23ailable and appropriate to the sensitivity and urgency of such information as it is necessary to convey.
It would be appreciated if Mr. Law could forward to the
Central Drugs Intelligence Unit, New Scotland Yard, a quarterly situation report upon the general narcotics situation in Bangkok with particular reference to the implications, if any, for the U.K.
