NR. Barnes is expecting you in Room GTA tomorrow, 23 November at 3.30pm, to brief the BBC's Far Easter Service on the Hong Kong Police Affer. the normal form is for the FCO speaker to make an opening scene-setting statement-lasting only a couple of minutes, and for this to be followed by informal question and answers. Normally about 12-15 people attend from the BBC. The session is for their own background information, not for use- preparing programmes. It dcould last for about 30 minutes.
