Mr. Parry asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action is being taken by Her Majesty's Government, the Hong Kong Government and Interpol concerning ex- tradition proceedings against persons in Taiwan wanted for questioning by_the Independent Commission Against Cor- ruption.
Mr. Luard: There are no arrangements for the extradition of offenders from Taiwan to Hong Kong.

by the Hong Kong Government. Legal proceedings are still continuing. Whether or not extradition procedings will be in- stituted against the other persons depends on the outcome of the case. Her Majesty's Government have taken no part in the proceedings which are of a judicial nature.
