6. HOW MANY POLICE OFFICERS HAVE BEEN CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION?
Since the establishment of the Independent Commission
Against Corruption 260 officers have been charged.
Of these
127 have been committed, 79 acquitted and 54 cases are pending.

DOES CORRUPTION REMAIN A SERIOUS PROBLEM IN HONG KONG?
I am satisfied that while there may remain corrupt
individuals, there is no syndicated corruption still active within the public service in Hong Kong.
