In addition, I visited the following police formations:-
(a) Folice Training School, Aberdeen where I was briefed on
functional leadership, "On the job" training, Initial character training and general developments and the Detective Training School
(b) Hong Kong Island District Headquarters, followed by a visit
to the new command and control centre, Wanchai Divisional Headquarters, Paterson Street Neighbourhood Policing Unit, Chai Wan Junior Police Call Centre and North Point Police Station.
(c) Kowloon District Headquarters followed by visits to Kwun Tong
Police Station (to examine the Sub-Unit command structure), Yau Tong Neighbourhood Policing Unit, Ko Chiu Junior Police Call Centre and Kai Tak Airport (to examine airport security and police plans).

The functional leadership training camp at Plover Cove.
The Police Cadet School at Fan Gardens and the extension at Dodwell's Ridge Camp.
(f) The Police Tactical Unit at Fanling where I attended a
demonstration of new Internal Security drills and revised arms and equipment and examined a static display of the Special Duties team and its equipment. This was followed by an exercise involving the Police Tactical Unit, Special Duties Unit and the Police Personnel Carrier Unit.
