2. I am very happy that PPD should discuss this with Hong Kong. It would clearly make life much simpler if he could remain on the Hong Kong payroll before Transfer Day. He would then presumably not become subject to UK taxes at all. I am not quite sure what his tax situation would be in Rhodesia during the transitional period, but I hope it is not for me to
sort that oút!
