Appearances as before.
ir. sceats: Lvidence of person called Tang wah who was applicant for
purchase of certain bank drafts at wing Lung Dank. Hy learned friends have agreed that sergeant Tang wah referred to in evidence of Hr. Chow Jun Lung was not the Tang wah whose names appears on the application forms. (Agreement submitted) Submit that all the bank drafts that have been provisionally produced and those application forms which have also been provisionally produced relative to bank drafts originally produced are admissible under provisions of sections 20 and 22 of the Evidence Ordinance provided
that I can demonstrate the relevance of the numbered accounts.
Before dealing with the numbered accounts Your Honour has already rulod as admissible Exh. P98A & B a bank draft issued by the ing Lung Bank North Point Branch on 26/7/71 (P38B) application in relation
to that draft by someone named Lee Yah who gave address as 12
Merlin Street. In my submission bank drafts FP3 and PP3A issued by
Hang Seng bank North Foint Branch on 13/7/71 and 2 applications on which those drafts were issued (PF3B & PFJAB) must follow as being admissible in accordance with ruling made re Exh. 98 and 984.
Draft shows Barclays Bank C.J.M. Cunningham. 1st accused is C.J... Cunningham. similarly drafts PP963 issued by Hang beng
Dank on 20/7/71 2 applications made for issue of those drafts
purport to be made by Lee wah of 12 merlin street are on all fours with the circumstances upon which Your Honour has already ruled before. Drafts all issued on same day.
