You said that you asked 2 of the witnesses to come the next morning

and was supposed to arrange for 2 more witnesses. ho vere the other

2 witnesses?

I can't remember the names.

You can have no knowledge unless you asked them whether they would

have been available:

They told me they could be available at any time if I could contact

them.

How could you say you cannot remember who they were:

There were 10 witnesses altogether I can't remember which 2.

They were mentioned in the letter.

Tou say 10 of them said they were available at any time?

Only 4 of them.

at any time?

Oy mutual convenience.

It might not be convenient for them to turn up the next day or

did you have some person or form to get them?

10.

Bocause they had been able to come 2 times previously it doesn't mean

they would always be available?

They could always take leave and come to my office.

They could also not get leave to come

They could say that.

You could not say it would be convenient for them to come?

Correct.

At time you made arrangements for the 2 you named, you had no

icea whether solicitors would be available to meet them that day?
